Dear Perspective Seagull Trainer:

Welcome!! I appreciate your interest in becoming an approved Seagull Trainer.

Seagull has many years of experience in designing courses, developing courseware and maintaining state approvals. We provide one of the most advanced systems of training for our instructors and students in the field. Maybe you have taken one of our courses and know how widely accepted our certificates are.

Seagull has various levels of accredited asbestos and lead-based paint courses in both English and Spanish. We also offer certification for MOLD, HAZMAT, Environmental Site Assessment, Operations and Maintenance and Awareness.

Seagull's primary philosophy of business is to offer environmental training based on the convenience of the STUDENT, not the trainer. Seagull operates several Regional Training Center's in the country. A Seagull Regional Training Center (RTC) is a permanent training facility that offers courses on a regular schedule. Except in rare instances, only one RTC will exist per state.

It takes a special person to be a Seagull Trainer. The Seagull Instructor must demonstrate sincerity for the quality of their training, honesty within our partnership, and concern for each student. We value the true commitment of such an instructor and will give back the same commitment.

Through Seagull's application process, Seagull Trainers will become approved to train in the state where you live as well as most other states in the country. Whether you join the Seagull training team as an authorized trainer or a Seagull RTC, you become our partner. Our partnerships have been very successful throughout the years. The first step of our partnership begins with the instructor application.

Step 1: Print, complete and mail the SEAGULL TRAINER APPLICATION (click here).

Step 2: Seagull representatives qualify your request to become a trainer and contact you for a phone interview.

Step 3: When the application is approved, send us photographs of your training loction (we can help you locate one) and your hands-on equipment and supplies for approval.

Step 4: When the facility and equipment are approved, a contract is sent to you and a "Train the Trainer" Course is set up. (Seagull comes to you or you visit us)

Step 5: An RTC Grand Opening or your first training is scheduled, notified and advertised.

As you can see, if you are serious about becoming a Seagull trainer the process is not difficult. Send us your application and we'll get started.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 800-966-9933.

I look forward to receiving your application soon.

President, Seagull Environmental Training
