Abatement Projects for Contractor/Supervisor Training
Courses
- Developed to meet the Asbestos
Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requirements, the Asbestos
Abatement Projects for Contractor/Supervisor Training Courses are
designed to be taken over five consecutive days. Fourteen hours of
extensive hands-on sessions are completed as part of each course.
This course is taken by employees or persons responsible for
Supervising asbestos abatement projects in school buildings, or
commercial or industrial facilities, This course also serves as an
entry level course taken by school personnel or building owners
providing an overview of asbestos abatement from a supervisory
standpoint. The Asbestos Abatement Projects for
Contractor/Supervisor course serves to meet OSHA "competent
person" training and the NESHAP required "on-site supervisor"
training.

CONTRACTOR/SUPERVISOR
This five-day comprehensive
course is designed to train supervisors who directly have the
responsibility for individual asbestos abatement projects and
contractors responsibly for multiple job-sites. This course is
required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) for
accreditation as a Contractor/Supervisor.

- An 100 question, multiple
choice examination will be administered at the end of both the
Contractor/Supervisor and the Worker courses. Those with a passing
score of 70% or better will be awarded a certificate of
accreditation.

instructional materials , exam administration, and
certificate.

Asbestos Abatement
Contractor/Supervisor Refresher
Training
- This course is an 8 hour, one
full-day course. The course meets the Asbestos Hazard Emergency
Response Act (AHERA) requirements for re-certification. Included
in the update is a review of the Contractor/Supervisor's duties
under the US. Environmental Protection Agency (US. EPA) and the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
In addition, this training will increase the understanding of
recent developments in asbestos hazard assessment and
control.

- This is an annual review. If
you have been certified as a Contractor/Supervisor for one year or
more, you MUST - BY LAW - take a re-certification course in order
to maintain your accreditation and to be eligible for the renewal
of your license.

ASBESTOS
CONTRACTOR/SUPERVISOR REFRESHER
Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor
refresher is a full-day comprehensive review designed to update
those persons who directly have the responsibility for individual
asbestos abatement projects and contractors responsible for
multiple job-sites. . This course is required by AHERA for
reaccreditation as a Contractor/Supervisor.
