PLEASE NOTE: The EPA requires Management Planners to have completed an approved building inspection course as a prerequisite.
This course is designed to be taken as one (4-hour) half-day course. The course meets all the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requirements for recertification. Included in the update is a review of the Management Planner's duties under the US. Environmental Protection Agency (US. EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. In addition, this training will increase your understanding of recent developments in asbestos hazard assessment, evaluation and control.
This is an annual review. If you have been certified as a Management Planner for one year or more, you MUST - BY LAW - take a re-certification course in order to maintain your accreditation and to be eligible for the renewal of your license.
