Class II Supervisor training is a 16-hour class that is
conducted over two days. This course is designed to meet Federal
OSHA and State regulations for the asbestos class II
supervisor.
The course includes 4 hours of hands-on activities. Lectures
include:
o History o Safe Work Practices
o Health Effects o Decontamination
o Medical Monitoring o Personal Protection
o Regulatory Requirements o Waste Disposal
o Contracts o Liability
o Recordkeeping o Insurance
This course prepares the employee to safely perform
supervision/labor related tasks associated with removing asbestos
containing materials less likely to be crushed or made non-intact
by it's disturbance. The course may be designed for wallboard,
floor tile, sheeting, roofing or siding material.
A 50 question, multiple choice examination is administered at
the end of the Class II Supervisor course. Those with a passing
score of 70% or better will be awarded a certificate of
accreditation.
The course fee includes all instructional materials, exam
administration, and certificate.
Class II Asbestos
Worker
Class II worker training is an 8-hour class that is conducted
over one day. This course is designed to meet Federal OSHA and
State regulations for the asbestos class II worker.
The course includes 2 hours of hands-on activities. Lectures
include:

o Health Effects o Decontamination
o Medical Monitoring o Personal Protection
o Regulatory Requirements o Waste Disposal

A 25 question, multiple choice examination is administered at
the end of the Class II Worker course. Those with a passing score
of 70% or better will be awarded a certificate of
accreditation.
